Acacia aneura (Mulga). Tolerates reflected heat, Hardy to 15°F. Evergreen shrub or small tree, grows slowly to 15' tall by 10' in spread. Little water once established. Origin: Australia. 1,800 seeds per oz.
Acacia arabica. Important source of Tanbark which is a substitute for Gum Arabic. 2700 seeds per pound.
Acacia baileyana (Golden Wattle)
Acacia berlandieri (Guajillo). Tolerates heat, frost hardy, evergreen in mild winters. Chihuahuan desert native. Shrub or small tree. Grows to 15' tall and 10' wide. Drought hardy, needs good drainage. Approx. 75 seeds per oz.
