Use: Cultivated dandelion form large clumps of long, dark green, brittle leaves. Young leaves are used in salads, or cooked like collards. Young plants sweetened by cold weather are best. Sometimes used as a medicinal.
When to sow outside: Plant early for late spring harvest.
