A small drought resistant perennial shrub-like, flowering plant grows 1 to 2 feet high. found in desert plains, arroyos, and hillsides from 2,000 to 5,000 ft. elevation. Approx. 20,000 seeds and chaff per oz. (mostly chaff by weight). Germination approx. 50%. Sold in bulk weight. Approx. 10% are seed and 90% chaff by weight.
