Thelocactus bicolor. USDA: 9-10. Hardy to 20°F. Light shade (hot gardens), full sun elsewhere. Heat resistant. Some water summer, keep dry during winter dormancy. Globular, usually solitary cactus up to 6" tall and 4" wide. Pink and white flowers. Origin: Chihuahua desert of central and northern Mexico, Texas.
