Echinocereus enneacanthus . Sunset 9b-11; USDA: 8-10. Hardy to 20° F.  Full sun.  Little water, needs porous soil, limestone in the mix is very helpful.  Clumping, forming colonies up 3' diameter. Reddish purple flowers. Origin: Northeastern Mexico, Texas.
