Echinocereus bristolii. Sunset 9b-11. Hardy to 10° F. Full sun to light shade in hot gardens. Little water, needs porous soil. Usually solitary, sometimes 2 or 3 stems, cylindrical, 4 to 12" tall, 2.4 to 4" in diameter. Purplish red flowers. Origin: Mexico. |
