Ferocactus gracilis. USDA 9b-11. Full sun, heat tolerant, needs little water. Hardy to 22 deg. F. Solitary barrel grows to 5' tall; 12" diameter. Red spines. Golden yellow flowers. Origin: Baja California Mexico.
